How long have you been with Anti-Pest?
What is your favorite part of the job?
Being a problem solver – I love going out to a customer’s home who has some sort of pest that they have not been able to get rid of on their own and finding a way to solve their pest issue. Also, I enjoy going in the field to assist a technician when they have an account with a pest problem they have not been able to solve.
Describe a typical work day:
I open the office by 6:00 a.m. – make coffee. Around 6:20 a.m., the technicians start coming in and getting ready for their day – this includes gathering their paper work, getting what products they need out of the warehouse, etc. At that time, I am available to answer any questions they have and sometimes I go out in the field with a technician to assist with their accounts. I also give commercial quotes, quote bed bug jobs, and give quotes for mosquito reduction services. I oversee technicians and sometimes help out in the office. At around 5:00 p.m., I go home.

Tell us about the most interesting pest encounter you’ve had:
I got a 5’ snake out of a garage door motor. The customer called in a panic early one morning asking if someone could come right away. He had tried to open his garage, when it stopped for no reason; he looked up and there was a big snake pinched in the gears. Myself and another technician rushed over and we were able to work the snake out.
