How Anti-Pest exterminates and prevents termites
Initial Termite inspection
When you contact our company for help getting rid of termites, we’ll send one of our trusted pest control specialists to perform a termite inspection.
We’ll look for termites, mud tubes, and other signs of a termite infestation, as well as termite damage, potential entry points, and conditions that attract these pests.
Sentricon® System Installation
Whether you have an active termite infestation or simply want to prevent one from happening, our pest control specialists can help by installing the Sentricon® System.
This standalone termite solution is designed to eliminate the entire subterranean termite colony, including the queen. The system is discreetly placed around the entire perimeter of your home or building, providing you with a long-lasting and effective solution.
Annual Termite Inspection
Once the Sentricon® System is installed, Anti-Pest will issue you a one-year termite re-treatment warranty.
To maintain your warranty year after year, we’ll schedule an annual inspection to look for any evidence of termite activity and replenish your baiting stations.
Termite pre-treatments
Termites are a common problem in our region. It is necessary to include termite prevention and control during the construction phase of a building, according to the Louisiana building code. Anti-Pest provides termite pre-treatments that effectively prevent termites from infesting new homes and structures. Reach out today to learn more about this service.
Frequently Asked Questions
Termite Control FAQs
Termites only locate termite baiting stations when searching for new food sources. Once they find the stations, the termite workers will consume the bait and carry it back to their colony to share with other members. As a result, the entire termite colony, including the queen, will be completely eradicated.
Per the manufacturer’s label, Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination Systems using Always Active™ technology need to be checked once per year. That’s why Anti-Pest schedules an annual termite inspection. If you have any concerns at any time, simply give us a call!
Yes! The Sentricon® System stations are installed underground, with only a service cover visible. They can only be opened using a special key. Additionally, the system's active ingredient only affects the molting process of termites and other insects, not humans or pets
